BMW iX3 Frequently Asked Questions

What is the range of the new BMW iX3?

The BMW iX3 has a WLTP range* of up to 500 miles depending on the specification, the choice of wheels etc. At 500 miles that is the highest range of any car available in the UK today (at the time of publication).

How long does it take to charge the BMW iX3?

The new battery technology in the BMW iX3 means you can charge up to 400kW, and at that power, you can add a range of 231 miles in just 10 minutes and go from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes**.

What’s new inside the BMW iX3?

When you step into the new iX3, it’s a brand-new design. A completely new architecture. The key differences that you notice straight away is the operating system, the new BMW Panoramic iDrive that’s made up of three elements that comes as standard. That’s the new free cut central display, the panoramic vision that you look at through the front of the car, and the Shy Tech operating elements on the steering wheel. There’s also an optional element of the 3D head up display.

How much boot space is there?

The BMW iX3 retains great practicality and boot capacity. So 520L with the seats up and 1750L with the seats folded, you can also get some additional storage at the front of the car.

At the front of the car, under the bonnet, there’s an additional 58L of storage space. This can be used for cables, which can get a bit mucky when they’ve been out when it’s been out charging the car in the rain, or for things like walking boots.

Is the new BMW iX3 a 4-wheel drive?

The BMW iX3 comes with xDrive – this is BMW’s intelligent all-wheel drive system. Also, adding to the driving dynamics is the new BMW Dynamic Performance Control, which is housed in the new central control unit of the car, which we like to refer to as the Heart of Joy.

What is the price of the new BMW iX3?

The starting price is from £58,755. For more detailed information on pricing, please click here or contact a member of the team today.
